Hosting and server log files

When you visit this website, the hosting provider processes technically necessary data such as IP address, requested page, time and browser type in server log files. This data serves the secure operation of the website and is deleted after a short time.

Contact form

When you use the contact form, the details you enter (name, email address, subject and message) are processed in order to handle your request.

The form is handled technically by Formspark, a service of Trampoline Software SRL, Belgium. Alongside the form content, technical data such as the IP address, browser information and the origin of the request are processed, as well as an approximate location derived from them. Formspark stores this data in Ireland and Germany; some of the vendors Formspark uses are located outside the EEA. A data processing agreement with Formspark is in place.

Automated submissions are kept out by Botpoison, a service of the same provider. On submit, your browser solves a computational challenge against api.botpoison.com for this. Your IP address and browser information are transmitted to Botpoison in the process; Botpoison stores the data in Ireland. A short-lived token is also placed in your browser’s session storage, which holds nothing but a one-time reference and the moment it was created and expires when you close the tab.

These transmissions only happen when you submit the form. Simply opening the contact page reaches no external service.

The details received through the contact form are kept only as long as necessary to handle the request and any further correspondence. At Formspark, deleted submissions remain recoverable for 30 days; the IP address and derived location are deleted there after 12 months.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking services. The only thing stored in your browser is the token described above, written when you submit the contact form.
